HOW TO PREPARE ARTWORK
Artwork Requirements
Scale
Where possible artwork should be supplied in actual size(1:1 Scale). For large bunting, where it is not possible to supply artwork at actual size, please supply it at either 50% or 10% and advise us at what percentage you have provided.
Resolution
We recommend artwork be supplied at 300dpi for best printing results. Bitmap or raster artwork must be a minimum of 150dpi at 100%, however a minimum of 300dpi is recommended. In order to check the resolution of your artwork, view your artwork at 100% and make sure that every element is sharp. The quality of the art at 100% is the same as how the document will print. If pixilation is visible at 100%, your print will be pixelated
Colour
Banners prints using a digital CMYK colour process.
Bleeds
Please do not provide artwork with bleeds or crop marks for any of our products.
File Formats
We accept PDF,PSD and JPG files. We prefer files are created using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop or Indesign. For best results with colour and gradient we recommend Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop.
If you do not have a professional design program you might like to talk to us about our design service. If you upload a PDF that has been created from a Microsoft program such as Word, Publisher or Powerpoint you may be very disappointed with the results. We cannot guarantee your print will turn out as expected and you do so at your own risk.
Submitting your artwork
Our website will accept files up to 10mb. If your file is larger than this please use a web-based file sending service such as wetransfer.com
Finishing your artwork
If you are providing us with a PDF file, please convert all text to outlines or curves, and place a clipping mask around your artwork, so that no elements are hanging off the page.
